Timbers to Face Club America’s Reserve Squad

The excitement is palpable, I’m sure. It will grow to a full frenzy when you look at the schedule and see that the Club America game is scheduled for the day immediately following a match against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Hopefully the starters will be rested so that we can kick off the international exhibition league campaign at full strength.
I under$tand why these game$ are $cheduled, but anyone el$e growing a little tired of Mexican friendlie$?

I wish this were the Jul 25 game so I wouldn’t feel bad about going up to s–tle with the Chicago Fire supporters.
