Burse was a man in goal, a bit shaky at times, but withstood a ton of pressure down the stretch. Suzuki- one of the best goals I've ever seen a Timber score! And what a first touch! I'm a newcomer to the Timbers as well, being in the process of a move to Portland, and I've never seen support like that in the U.S. It's a fantastic group of fans, and it makes the atmosphere something really special. I actually thought it was a little more than the announced attendance, since it may have been louder than opening night with 11,000. Sounders was a pretty ironic name for those away fans - I didn't hear a peep. Some credit to the ones that had the stones to walk into the Bitter End, though. KMD – I agree. All I can say is this: WOW! The Army sung the entire time and the game was a good one + two cracking goals. (Suzuki's bender was quality.) I'm in and will be back. I'd have to say that the stadium looked pretty damn full; Seattle's traveling fans stood in the corner, silent for the 90. Pretty good quality, I was surprised. The atmosphere reminded me some of the games I've caught in South America and Europe...no, I'm not kidding.
