I’m getting sick of the blame Keita crap. Dude has most shots on goal this year, and won EVERYTHING in the air against Cleveland and most of the stuff against Carolina. Is he a goal scorer, maybe not, but he IS an effective forward. Alot of shots and attempts on goal are going through him. And at least he keeps trying. Look at Josten…other then holding up the ball to help Pore score against Carolina, has he shown ANYTHING this year? Where was he against Cleveland? I think I heard his name once.

Is it a problem we aren’t scoring? Yeah! But some of you guys sound so whiney and complainy its getting rideculous. At least we are putting some shots on target…last year that was something that NEVER happened. This is our 4th game and we are looking 10000% times more competent in the attacking third than last year, so give it a rest!

Cleveland still has the look of a USL-2 team. A high school pitch, 1k – 2k fans, and the talent level is not on par with USL-1. If they hold course, they’ll be back in USL-2 next year. They are the worst team in the league and will lose 20 of their 30 matches this year. We suck for not taking 3 pts in this one.
…….. I will NEVER eat at Chick-Fil-A….. EVER!

I’m so impressed by those who are on a first name basis with “Gavin”. Of course it is Wilkinson’s fault. He chooses our strikers. The coach must be held responsible for the failure to find scorers, just as he gets the credit for finding scorers. I thought he got it two years ago, but last year his selection of strikers (?) was abysmal. OK, we all make mistakes, but here we go again. He loads us up with midfielders, but fails to find an effective striker(s). You would think a former defender would be able to recognize a real striker when he saw one. Then again, maybe he is still committed to preventing goals, rather than scoring them.

Let’s remember the old saw, “If they don’t score, you can’t lose”. What Wilkinson doesn’t seem to understand, however, is the old saw, “If you don’t score, you can’t win”. I’m sick of the Timbers lack of scoring last year and this year. If I want to watch a team that can’t score, I can always tune in the Mariners.

Sucks to dominate like that and not come away with three points. Timbers had a shot every few minutes in the second half, it seemed, and the few on target were well handled by their keeper. Keita’s main problem seems to be facing the net – every time I see him get the ball, he has his back to net and isn’t able to turn. Three matches without conceding is great, but you’re right that these were two points dropped.
