I was very impressed to see her at the pub before the match, and despite the obvious language barrier I don't think I managed to offend her too badly (even when I dropped a beer). Is it me or is Gavin keeping Scot Thompson back on purpose for free and corner kicks? He's one of our best jumpers and headers on set pieces and we're not putting him in the play. I saw him come up late, when we're looking for the lone goal to win the game. AFG hasn't had very good results with his free kicks this season. He rarely seems to get any height or distance on corners. His set pieces on the field rarely find targets.
