Keita impressed me last night. I'm no soccer nerd so I can't give any detailed reasons why, but he seemed very active and I had fun watching him play. I'm looking forward to him finally getting a goal in front of the shed. I'd also like to point out this little tidbit from the comments in yesterday's post:

I predict 8013 people in attendance and 2 Timbers goals in the net (zero allowed, natch!). Keita’s gonna break his Timbers cherry and we’re also gonna get a PK in this game - who’ll take it, do you think? Claesson?

My attendance prediction was pretty close too. What do I win?

And finally...wow was yesterday an emotionally trying day. I spent about the first half hour in the Shed, then I had to go park it in 111 (which is a very good seat, by the way, right on top of the corner flag and with great views and sounds of the Shed). The whole evening, from the pub to the match, was more evidence to me that the Timbers Army is unique, a very special fact in my life and the lives of a lot of people. My good friend Ralph put it best after we got the news: "TA is family, I didn't realise how much."
