You know who is Rose City ‘Til I Die? The good people of the Solomon Islands.
How monumental is this achievement? Considering the fact that Benjamin Totori can be plucked from the obscurity is like the movie ‘Goal’ played out in real life. Little is know about Portland Timbers in the Solomon Islands; let alone US Soccer. But with Totori in the Timber’s lineup, you can be sure that there will be a major following here in Honiara.
We’re coming after you next, Cook Islands.
A special shout out goes to our friends in Japan too. I have received a couple of emails from people in Japan who tell me they are very closely following the Timbers now that Takayuki Suzuki (he’s interviewed in Friday’s Trib) has joined the good side. One of them is even coming to Portland for the Rochester game. That is dedication, my friends. The love is spreading…

Yeah, it’s so true… about half my hits for my match review were referred from japanese sites. haha. Oh and one guy looking for “nasty” girls.
