All kinds of amazing things are happening, we just don’t know about them

By: Bob Kellett | March 21st, 2008

nothing3.jpgI was going to post a rant today regarding the club’s continued secrecy over the identity of the trialists and the fact they have provided no information about yesterday’s scrimmage, but you’ve read these thoughts from me before so I’ll spare you. There is zilch in the way of news this morning, which means that this afternoon while I am otherwise occupied there’s bound to be all kinds of interesting news that comes to light.

The official party line is that all the coaches are back for next season. I’m sure you were waiting on the edge of your seat for confirmation of that.

If you bought your season tickets early and are eligible for a slab of wood signed by the team, you can pick up your tickets and wood at PGE Park on Wednesday, March 26 from 5 to 7:30 pm.

In USL news, after an offseason of turmoil Rochester has a new owner and will be back for the 2008 season. It would have been a big blow to the league to lose one of its better franchises. Sadly, they have dropped the “Raging” from their nickname and are now simply the Rochester Rhinos. Now the only time you can use raging is when you are describing a case of hemorrhoids.

I think I favorite keeper from a few years back is in camp – Sam Reynolds. If true I would be stoked – that guy is awesome!
