I hope the Timbers will continue to dominate Montreal at their new stadium as much as they did at Robillard. The Timbers went there three times, never got scored on, and got two wins and a draw. We own ‘da house in Montreal.

I don’t think S**ttle will finish in first, I think it will be between Portland and Montreal for that top spot. I also think Rochester will struggle with their new coach and they just started camp last week and could very well miss the playoffs for the first time. I think they will battle with Carolina, Minnesota, and Miami for the final playoff berth (which is 7th place this year).

Ironically, The USL’s best team is Québécoise

Nick De Santis’ Montreal Impact are coming off a strong training camp in Portugal and Italy. They even managed to poach an ASRoma player Stefano Pisoli, and a young brazilian striker from Ayia Napa , Severino Jefferson.

I see them going all the way this year before heading to the MLS with the backing of Liverpool’s and habs owner George Gillet

I’m of the belief that it’s bad karma/mojo/juju to pick the Timbers to finish first. Jinxes are not something to mess with, as whomever is picked to finish first will inevitably not be there at the end. So, well done Anne. I, too, pick Seattle to finish first and Portland second.
