Sights and Sounds from a Cascadia Cup Clash

By: Bob Kellett | April 27th, 2008

Takayuki Suzuki defies physics to give the Portland Timbers a 1-0 lead over the Seattle Sounders.

Update: Another look at the goal courtesy of KPTV.

Miguel Guante scores his first goal as a Portland Timber to clinch the game 2-0.

That’s a local news guy? I was sitting directly next to him, trying to tell him the words to chants, at least the ones I know. Funny.

Cory - In the first game of the season your old coach Konstin got into it with a coach from Puerto Rico on the sidelines. They almost came to blows. I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of one of his punches. I talked to him a few weeks ago. Seems like a great guy.
