US Open Cup: Portland Timbers v. Sonoma County Sol

A dreadful stretch of football cannot prevent the Portland Timbers from hosting a US Open Cup First Round match against Sonoma County Sol on Tuesday night. The Timbers defeated Sonoma County in the Second Round of last season’s open cup by a 3-0 score, though the final two goals were scored in extra-time. The winner will advance to play the winner of Kitsap Pumas v. Bay Area Ambassadors on June 22.
